The Pink Jet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading breast cancer awareness, supporting survivors and raising money to find a cure through aviation.
We all know that breast cancer is often deadly if not detected and treated early, and even if it is, it leaves many women disfigured and emotionally devastated. Awareness and early detection are key.
We promote awareness and raise money directly for breast cancer organizations by flying The Pink Jet at air shows. It’s an L-39 Albatros fighter jet, piloted by extraordinarily talented women. It’s a noble mission for a former fighter jet, an aircraft originally designed to take life, that’s been repurposed to preserve life in one of the greatest battles of our time – the fight against breast cancer.
The Pink Jet flies as a symbol of strength, hope, compassion and resilience.
The jet was recently donated to Aerial Angels. True to its mission, it has been painted pink.
